Personality Mapping & Mentoring
At the beginning of the 1st semester/ trimester, students take up psychometric tests which map their personality, self-image, behavioral traits & career drives to get a broad idea of behavioral challenges that students might face and identify possible ways to overcome them. Mentoring sessions focus on developing students’ thought process, channelize their energy and motivate them to achieve career goals.
Personal Counseling by Mentor
Personal and Career Counseling is carried out by the individual mentor assigned for a group of students. Personal Counseling eases mentees into their new roles and reduces the stress associated with the transition from an undergraduate programme to a professional post-graduate programme. It helps to develop a self- directed student.
Personal Counseling by Faculty
Student approach individual faculty members based on their rapport with the faculty to discuss and resolve their personal issues. As a matter of ethics, such interactions are strictly confidential and on a personal basis. This helps the students to overcome home sickness, stressful situations, problems with motivation, the feeling of being overwhelmed, the fear of exams or anxieties about the future, difficulties in relationships with parents or friends and partners, etc.
Psycho Social Counseling
Interventions such as workshops, role plays, case studies on team building, leadership management, transactional analysis, conflict management, group dynamics, etc. are deployed for effective psycho-social counseling.
Training Interventions
Personality Development workshops are conducted regularly. Students are trained on aspects of Body language, Assertiveness, Team building, Confidence building, goal setting, etc. Such workshops boost the confidence and morale of the students.
