1. Financial Modeling
Financial model is the main tool used for valuation and associated predictions about potential and actual investments, whether they be common stocks, complex derivative or whole companies considered for a leveraged buyout. At Suryadatta, students who are pursuing Finance specialization undergo complete financial modeling training involving the collection of relevant financial data about the business to be modeled and the representations of these data so that important calculations about the company can be made, such as valuation.
Methodology :
-For Financial Modeling, the Training through experts starts with learning the most effective ways to design, crosscheck and structure financial models.
-Students gets practical experience in various steps in building robust and flexible financial models.
-Use of various case studies helps to understand various types of modeling – Financial Modeling, Valuation, Modeling, Merger Modeling & Leveraged Buyout (LBO) Modeling, Fair Value of a company or other asset.
2. Social Media Marketing
Use of internet is increasing day by day. More and more consumers are becoming aware of web landscape, and are getting connected with others around the World. Hence, digital marketing has become a necessity for many organizations and is growing at rapid pace. Traditional media combined with Digital media marketing is the future of Marketing. At Suryadatta, we focus on imparting training on E-commerce and internet based marketing tools and techniques.
Suryadatta has understood this necessity of Digital Marketing and has started special workshops for students into Digital Marketing. These workshops include the following modules.
Email Marketing: Students learn the importance of emails into digital marketing landscape. Under this module students are given training on how to effectively build users lists, deliver e-mails & generate relevant clicks. Students also practice the same with Live examples such as Alumni emails etc.
Social Media Marketing (SMM): Social Media is one of the most efficient source of word-of-mouth marketing. Under this module students are trained on how to build brand, generate leads & aggregate audience on various Social Media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, You Tube etc.
Search Engine Optimisation and Marketing (SEO / SEM): Training is given in various strategies used to promote & get website listed among top search engine results. Students are also given training on how to effectively run and campaign on various search engines and Facebook. Use of Google and other popular search engines is emphasized through workshops conducted by google partners in this business.
Web Analytics: Students are given training on how to make business decisions from the metrics available in Digital Media. Actual analytics are shared as examples with students during Digital Marketing workshops.
E-Commerce: Students are given Live projects under the Marketing Club whereby they understand the e-commerce application.
3. Six Sigma TQM
The central idea behind Six Sigma is that if you can measure how many "defects" you have in a process, you can systematically figure out how to eliminate them and get as close to "zero defects".
Six Sigma's aim is to eliminate waste and inefficiency, thereby increasing customer satisfaction by delivering what the customer is expecting. Six Sigma is a highly disciplined process that helps us focus on developing and delivering near-perfect products and services.

4. Business Strategic Planning
Given the importance of Business Strategy and Strategic Planning in any organization, we are regularly conducting series of seminars on the subject for the benefit of the students pursuing Management education in Suryadatta Group of Institutes. The Strategy is always well explained by the Top level executives in industry and stalwarts in the respective fields.
The following seminars on the subject were organized recently in association with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) under its Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) at Suryadatta Institutes of Management where top executives and consultants briefed students and faculty on Business Strategy & Strategic Planning.

5. Business Analysis & Intelligence
Companies utilize large amount of data gathered and associated analytical tools or approaches as a way to gain information to better support their company and serve their customers. With increase in competition, data analysis and correct decisions are very important. Business Analytics is the scientific process of deriving business insights from raw data to support important business decision making process. Business Analytics helps organizations to gain Business Intelligence and helps Mangers to solve business problems in a number of fields. We work on developing the complete set of skills in our students, required in the industry today.We impart training on business analytics including –
-Various Business analysis tools - Statistical & others
-How to manage data and datasets?
-How to create a hypothesis, test and validate it through data within a statistical framework?
-Predictive Modeling techniques and tools e.g. Regression models
-Forecasting techniques for corporate planning for finance, sales, marketing, strategy etc.
-Various decision models and applications of analytics.
